Been ill since saturday afternoon (tonsilitis) and pretty much floored so really had my activities curtailed until today. This morning, feeling much better (yay for antibiotics) so a nice easy ride into work. Icy as hell but still got studs on so no worries. Overall temps must be rising though as I've stripped down to just my l/s top and bib tights for riding, my jacket is too warm.
Detour on way home tonight through the forest along a new trail and down by the river. Stopped to chat to some fishermen who were just packing up. Watched a heron doing Tai Chi on a midstream island boulder and then headed home across the final feild. 23.91km in all.
...and I know, I'm fed up of sunset photos too but heck, they're just so gorgeous in winter round here.
